Thrive is Hiring: Events & Community Engagement Coordinator

Thrive is hiring a Events & Community Engagement Coordinator.

Thrive believes that when families are strong, children succeed, and communities thrive.

The Events & Community Engagement Coordinator will play an important role on development campaigns by leading the planning and execution of all Thrive fundraising events – strong event planning, interpersonal communication skills, a growth mindset, and emotional intelligence are critical for this position. This person will also work with others on development and program teams to mitigate the workload, share resources, nurture creativity and collaboration. Because the organization so strongly values collaboration, many projects will involve other colleagues.

As the organization’s Community Engagement leader as well, this role asks for strategic planning of stakeholder relationships and collaborations. The Events & Community Engagement Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director to further the public’s understanding of Thrive’s presence, mission, and impact. A strong belief in Thrive’s mission is integral to success in this position. All aspects of this work align with Thrive’s culture of philanthropy and organization’s CARE values (communication, advancement, respect, and excellence).
