Thrive is hiring a Thrive Liaison – Hyalite Elementary!

Thrive Liaisons are responsible for promoting parent and child engagement for all families enrolled in the Bozeman School District. This Thrive Liaison position is specific to Hyalite Elementary and is responsible for:
– Increasing opportunities for parents and caregivers to collaborate and participate as partners with our schools with regard to the academic and social growth of their children,
– Assisting parents and caregivers in identifying positive parenting practices through facilitating one-on-one meetings and/or parenting workshops, and
– Coordinating community volunteers for Thrive’s award-winning Child Advancement Project (CAP) while working as a partner with the school district to ensure that children receive extraordinary one-on-one mentoring.
This position is designed to support students and families, as well as Bozeman School District
staff and administrators in order to promote the academic, social, and emotional success of
students at school and at home.

You Have:
● A passionate and strength-based approach to engaging children and adults
● Excellent relationship-building skills

● A solution-based personality with a good sense of humor
● Ability to bring people together
● Demonstrated knowledge of human behavior and performance, including child and human development
● Experience with curriculum and training design, teaching, and instruction for individuals and groups
● Ability to supervise and advise up to 50 adult volunteers and elementary students
● A four-year degree in social work, education, sociology, or related field
● 3+ years of prior experience working in schools and/or with families
● Or, an equal combination of education and work experience
We’ll Also Love If You Have:
● An advanced, two-year degree in social work, psychology, education, or related field
● A passion for helping local children and families grow, learn, and succeed at school and at home
Note: This position may occasionally require the ability to be contacted for and/or participate in work-related events or tasks outside of normal working hours.

Compensation: Starting at $37,200 annually + Benefits
Employment type: 40 hours/week school-based, non-exempt
